I’m just wondering if anyone uses live cameras in their tortoise enclosures and if so what do they recommend?

I want to be able to open an app on my phone to see what hes up to during the day. I’m just curious about the daily life of a tortoise and miss seeing him active at work.
I have recently put him in a new enclosure and want to see him interacting in it and make sure there’s no tipping areas that need to be adjusted

I use the Wyze pan cam. You can watch it live from your phone. Or it sends you small video notifications whenever there is movement.

Hi, I run a raspberry pi zero wireless with MotionEye operating system. The configuration is easy, but it's only accessible on your wifi. Setup costs around $30ish.

Let me know if you have any questions.Camera1_12-47-07.jpg

Your leopard needs humidity and closed chamber. He is already starting to pyramid.
Please read the leopards caresheet.

Hi, you can get different cameras to attach to your raspberry pi. Some wide angle are available, I am thinking of changing mine out as well to get a better angle.

One of the main draws for this MotionEye app is that it does not require any cloud services, meaning local resources only. However, there is always a way to access it remotely if you're up to tinker around.
