Live plants

Hello, so today I bought some spider plants, hosts, and ficus plants for my red foot. I washed them all thoroughly to rid them of any herbicides and pesticides. I replanted them in organic soil and am wondering how long I have to wait until I can put them in with my red foot. I've researched it and have come up with 2 days to 6 months and everything in between. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you rinse off the roots real well also? If so I would give them about a month or two.

Yes I rinsed all the dirt off of the roots. Scrubbed them pretty good. I'm kind of worried I might have killed the plants.
