Lizzy (my son's turtle) update.

Lizzy has been doing great. She still only eats the earthworms and grubs. She won't eat fruit or veggies or the other food I've bought. I think she's growing.

At this age he/she is going to pretty much eat only protein. Keep offering fruits/veggies, but this is normal. As he/She gets older he'll start nibbling.

Young box turtles at this age really respond to small live insects/worms and smelly protein based foods. The fruits will be accepted soon and the veggies later on.

She loves hunting down the earthworms and grubs! I've gotten her to nibble other stuff by using chopsticks to wiggle it.
I think she's a little bigger too.
