we have a local company that makes it's own feed and sells all over america. they are famous for selling their feeds to michael jackson for the exotic animals he had. i asked them recently about their tortoise feed. they told me that they don't have a specific one for tortoises, but they sell their kangaroo feed mix to people who own tortoises. here is the label from what i got off their website. i normally feed mazuri and am almost out. was wondering if i should get more mazuri or try and switch to this. but, i'm not sure about the ingredients. advice welcome. let me know if you see something in this list that my sulcata should NOT have. thanks.

What's the brand name? I wouldn't want something that contained that much corn. It contains quite a few supplements, but only four actual food ingredients...barley, corn, soy bean meal and oats. You might use it in a pinch, but I wouldn't use it as a main stay.

I don't think it will harm your tortoises, but I wouldn't feed very much or very often either. It is not nutritionally designed and balanced for tortoises.

Ditto with laura, either Mazuri or zoomed pellets.
