Can RT's get lonely if they're in a turarium with no other RTs? Mine is kept alone but he shows no sign of being depressed.

RE: Lonley?

RT's don't get lonely. In the wild they are largely solitary. They roam huge distances and meet up to mate, before moving on.

In the confined spaces of captivity they don't share nicely. They regard any new companion as an interloper and try to see it off. Russians can fight nasty... biting often draws blood and the newcomer becomes withdrawn and can become ill and die very quickly if not removed.

Your tort is happy as it is. As it grows, it will need an enclosure larger than a vivarium and access to outdoor life will be best... just not shared with anyone else!
