If you want to pay shipping you could check the ads at Kingsnake; I've seen some beatiful RT there. Also you could post a thread in wanted section and specify your location. Craigslist could also be an option, depending on where you live.

I know people send them all the time, i just don't know anything about shipping..

Normally the shipping is pretty easy with most of the folks shipping them knowing pretty well what to do. Check out the shipping thread for some information on how it should be done. On your end, the hardest part is the nail biting time while waiting for them enroute.

Ask the person your going to buy from (if you go this way) how they will be shipping the animal to make sure it sounds ok correct to you. If you were to have a question on what they say, just ask in here for our thoughts. Also double check what temps will be along the way.

If you really want to consider the RT to be shipped to you, please do it now while the weather is generally still warm.

kallista, i too have been looking to purchase some female RTs. it seems that females are harder for me to find this season especially the mature females. good luck and i hope you find a great little lady.
