I'm looking to adopt any small tortoise species or a baby sulcata. The reason for this is because I live in NJ and I can't keep them outside all year long due to harsh winters. In 4-5 years, I'll be moving to Florida and will have no problems keeping them outside where they'll thrive, but in the meantime, I would like a small species or if it's a sulcata, I would like him as a baby. I also know that they're capable of growing 2-4 inches per year. After all these years (I'm 48) of reading and researching, I think I'm ready to adopt these beautiful creatures.
