Looking for Russian in Indiana

Hello, I would like to adopt a Russian in Indiana. I can travel to neighboring states as long as it is close to the Indiana border. I would prefer to be out of the fragile hatchling age group as I am a new keeper. Thanks!

I happened to find a Russian tortoise walking down my sidewalk today while walking my dogs. I am in Brookfield Illinois.

Ooof that poor tortoise needs a good soak. Can you put him in a plastic bin with warm water staying around 90-95 degrees? at least 30 minutes.

Absolutely. I need help taking care of this guy until I find somewhere for him to go. Not sure what to do. I will send the pics as soon as I’m able. Thanks.
