Too hot to do anything. But I DID run the sprinklers for the grass. And I sat there and watched it grow for a bit too. :p

So far the weekend is a continuation of a bad week, but am trying to look at Sunday as a positive new start and not just waiting for the next shoe to fall.

So whatcha doing on your weekend?

Tell me about it Yvonne, it is like an oven on full blast here in Arizona! The other day my jeep (I call him Charlie) said it was 115. I don't even want to go in the pool with Bella, it is like a bath tub!

It's my last weekend before the attack of the 5 year olds! I just found out I have 16 this year! Woot Woot!!! Mostly boys.....poor girls!!! I went into work for 3 hours today, to make sure everything was ready for them. The first day is always just aweful, kids crying, mommies crying, me crying! Then I have to be the meanie and shoo all the parents away! I hate that part!! Last year I was kicked, bit then clawed.

We have 1/2 day also, but we do it twice, we have a morning class and then an afternoon class. It's such an exciting huge milestone for the little ones, one that many are NOT prepared for. The kids just don't get it when mommy leaves. Most do awesome, and honestly the ones that cry are usually over it in a few minutes. We get that, and we are all Moms ourselves, so they get extra love and hugs! But I tell ya, that first hour is something else! UGH! Go to bed early and eat those wheaties!!

Terry, it was a kiddo! :D The Mom had her so worked up by the time I got to her she was like a cornered cat. After I showed her what she did to my arm she felt really bad and actually calmed down immediately. It took about 30 minutes but then I had a new friend, hugs and pictures the rest of the day! My shots are current! :D

I get to start my day almost everyday with hugs! It doesn't get any better than that! Well, until they turn on you! :p

Wow yours are spread out at all the major stages. I know what you mean about freezing time or maybe just have the ability to go back to certain days. It's funny we start out wanting our children to start talking then they do and soon we wish they would talk some where else at times. We want them to walk, but once they do we have moments we wish they couldn't walk away. We want them to learn to fly, then the time comes and the fly away and once more we wish we could take back a bit of that ability. Atleast was that way for me.

With my four, two are these last few days being sent back to college again and to new homes. (the other two are older and out in the "real" world now...lol) I still have those same moments of sadness as I did taking them to their first day of school all those many years ago.
