So my wife and I have been dealing with Tortoises for awhile now. When one of our CDT's got out we placed ads and posters pretty much everywhere and still to this day continue the search.
We get alot of emails/calls about found tortoises that might be our missing CDT. So far none of them have been. But, what happens is "Oh this isn't your tortoise? Well I live in an apartment/mobilehome, I can't take care of it"
So we end up taking them, housing, caring and feeding them until their owner is found.
This one in particular escaped the owners yard while they were on vacation in Indiana lol. Got a call today from the person that found him, they are going to pick him up today to reunited him with his owner.
