Hello I haven't been on here in a long time . I have been very busy with my twin babies. But I just wanted to ask members a question about my RT. Well July 5 we to feed didn't see the tort we looked all around the yard asked neighbors and nothing :( . Well this morning when I went to feed I notice that there was an extra tort. WHAT it was underneath the dirt all this time a total of 3 months it was buried or I don't know hibernating could it be? Has this happened to anybody?

I have no explanation for this!
Could he somehow have escaped and then come home again?

Wow glad he's back. I guess the grass wasn't greener on the other side after all

Russian tortoises are very good at hiding the spot where they've dug down into the dirt. Your tortoise has been buried this whole time. They sometimes estivate during the hot summer months.
