Yes, she’s five yrs old now and her shell has gotten a little darker but has always been like that

I am curious, but how did that bump look like when she was little? Did she have a split scute?

She’s missing a scute and that’s a build up of keratin, so I’ve been told , it’s grown as she’s grown

Pebbles is beautiful ! Zola, who is also a Hermanns, had a very pretty patterned shell - though not as colourful as Pebble's shell, but as he got older the patterns have faded a lot, and he is now a strange brown which can look dark in some lights, but a lovely golden yellow in others ! Here's a picture his dad put together of him at different ages ( the background is Falmouth, where we took him one day)
