Hey everyone,

It is getting to be winter time here in LA and I was wondering if I should do anything about the low humidity. Without a dehumidifier it is around 20-30% in the whole enclosure.

OxBen, I decided to place some Moser Lee Sphagnum moss in part of my indoor enclosure to help with humidity for my Greeks. Weather reports states the humidity factor with the winds in my area are to be about 15%. So I definitely need to increase mine. I also moved them into a room and have gotten a warm air humidifier to help. I believe, raising the ambient air temp and humidity is always the best decision.

Cool, thanks for the quick reply.

I put a cup of water under the heat lamp in hopes to get some evaporation and moisture in the air.

I have from hatchlings, which I keep at a higher humidity (I strive for an ambient air humidity of 35%-50%) and 50% to 70% (with the aid of a damp hide), to adults which I try to keep at between 25% and 50%.
