Look forward to photos! We personally use pond lining, you can get it pretty reasonably priced on some Amazon listings, we had lots left over too. Mold resistant shower curtains can also work, personally we just think the pond lining is a bit more robust
I had 2 tort tables in a room in my house that we put in place in 2005. One was 6'x3' and the other was 5'x4'
keeping in mind every tortoise or box turtle were physically put outside in pens...separated
of course. I also have 2 more habitats in the house...all are wood, not pine or cedar...Then I got the heaviest grade shower curtain liner I could find, and stapled them in. Filled them with small grade orchid bark, and wet them heavily. Then add the lights heat and wait...I personally wait for 48 houses, making sure it's all ready for a great tortoise. Now it's 21 years later, I recently tore down several of the tables..none had leaked...I like shower curtains liners because they are more pliable than those liners you talk about...
I think maybe because of where we live in the world, my supplies might be better than yours? As far as my liners, anyway, I know you had it all covered, but I thought you might not mind, me telling how a lot of us still use shower curtain liners...and they are not nearly as inexpensive than ever!!! And with spot cleaning and stirring the substrate, all 4 tables I removed, were full of orchid bark, still smelling good...

And these pictures for the op Catprincx...This is Little Sh*t, he's 3 years old and he loves the stairs...Oops looks like congestion on the living room wallDSCN1751.JPGDSCN1735.JPG
But here comes the little princess...Angel Soft... Yes, Angel Soft was named after t-paper...lol she is a blue eyed sweety...except...when she wasn'tDSCN2690.JPG She kinda trashy tho.. DSCN2195.JPGDSCN2187.JPG

What precious kitties! Seeing cats always makes my day! Here are some pics of mine

My Youngest who turns 5 this month, his favorite pass time is messing with his sister.

My middle child in terms of my cats, also the sweetest but if something gets knocked over it’s probably her who did it! She’s 9

My oldest who turned 18 this past February! He has no eyes but he is still the boss of everyone in my house!

Before greenhouse

Greenhouse placed, the instructions were confusing but I never rely on those anyways.
It's looking good so far. The greenhouse should hopefully keep your cat(s) from thinking it's a giant litterbox.

One of my former cats preferred using the ashes in the fireplace to her litterbox. That was messy!

Question!
im setting up the lights for the new enclosure, but my thermostat connected to my ceramic heat emitter is reading a crazy number! its showinng 121.8 F but my temp gun is reading 81. The probe of the thermostat is not directly under either the CHE or the basking light, I have it off to the side right now. Is there a way to fix this or is it time to replace it?

Some thermostats have calibration function to adjust readings. Also, if thermostat probes are detachable - make sure that connections are firm and contact surfaces are clean.

Its a Jump start thermostat with just three buttons, set up and down. I tried but I dont think the probe is detachable.

You may check user's manual, but from what I see this thermostat has no calibration. You can run a few more tests - e.g. check how it shows room temperature and so on. If possible you can return it and exchange.

Pics!
Got Lucifer moved in!
I still got decorating to do but that will be a continued effort as I find things.IMG_4797.jpeg

I have to buy a bigger LED bar and a bigger water dish.
As always I have a question, I have an indoor ring camera for him that I had set up outside of his old enclosure looking in but with this one I would have to place it inside. Would the humidity damage the camera?

Hello Everyone! It’s been a while since I last posted mostly because nothing exciting has happened other than Lucifer growing so much! He reached 1 lb last month and today he weighed in at 533g! It’s starting to feel like spring over here with the warm sunny days even tho it’s still technically winter. I took some pics of Luci after his bath that I liked and wanted to share.
