Cute! I can't wait until the dandelions start to grow here. Never thought I would say that before. I use to spend hours outside digging them out. How things change once you become a tortoise Mom.

I have yet to get my Boris to eat a dandelion. He loves the dandelion leaves I can get at our local grocery store but haven't gotten him to eat a dandelion flower from our yard.

It took my Russian tortoise a year and a half to eat a dandelion, now he sprints across his enclosure when I bring him one.

By 'sprints', do you mean 'crawls faster and more purposefully than usual'?

Im just managing to get maggie to come to me when i put my hand in her enclosure. Dandilions are all over our garden she loves em. Going to make her an out door enclosure for when we're out in the garden
