I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot, eh.

Yesterday I sorta played hooky from work so I got to spend a lot of time with my little dude, we soaked, we roamed, we basked, it was great... His dinner time came along, so when I went out with my lettuce container he was sleeping in his favorite spot, lifted up his head and literally booked it to his food slate!!!!!!!! HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY! I danced in circles, jumped up and down, literally sang him a little song and all! HA! I know it seems like nothing, but it made me so happy! You guys are the only ones who will understand!

I understand exactly. I love it when I talk to my Russian baby tortoises and they lift their little heads up and look at me; it is as if they were actually listening to what I am saying.
