Manouria Video Need Input

Well I have been experimenting with doing some educational videos. I would really love some feedback. True critiquing. No harsh feelings here. I will start I guess. I dont really like the text going over the photos or video portion. Does this bother anyone. Also this will be a much longer film. I just wanted to get a kinda sneak peak for opinions and input before spending more time on it.

I like the music, I like the information you share, but, I would like to have read the information either horizontally and/or as stationary text instead of the rolling through the pics...I was easily distracted reading the words and not enough time allowed between the message and the pics....outside of that, beautiful torts too

Slow down the scrolling text. Also it's difficult to read the white lettering against the pictures. Otherwise I liked it, cool pictures.

It'd be cool to have a part in there with you working with them or showing them to a group of kids. And maybe show some video of the slash and burn method and maybe some pictures of animals that died from the method.

In the nest-guarding sequence, you have "guard" mis-spelled.

Like was said above, the scrolling text was hard to read against the lighter pictures, plus it scrolled too quickly. I would have like it better if it scrolled across the bottom horizontally instead of through the picture vertically.

Yeah after watching from taking a break from it. I Dont like the text scrolling over the photos at all. I will adjust and resubmit for opinions. Oops on guard.

Hey Kelly,

Nice work! I think you have some great photos and video footage. I personally think talking over the video is more effective. This way, people get the same information, but in half the time. The Youtube crowd is an impatient bunch. Even if you have an effective video, people will only listen to a small portion of each video, so shorter is always way better. Short and sweet is best. and breaking up a subject into three 2 minute videos is better than just having one 6 minute video. Hope this makes sense.

Another reason why I don't like writing too much Kelly. It gets tough to always check spelling on so much. Typos and general misspellings. I'd be there all day checking my stuff!

LOL. so true. My tired eyes miss things like that editing and editing and editing. I am terrible with spell check and grammatical in general though.

OK. I figured I wouldn't bother my mom. But shes an author so she helped with edits. I updated it again. should be all good now
