mazuri food vs. zoomed food?

i have 2 russians and am getting a sulcata. my russians have always had the zoomed tort chow appropriate for them, but i had never known of mazuri food. they only get it a couple times a week, with some greens mixed in, but is mazuri that much better or has there been bad reports on the zoomed food?

In my opinion, based on usage and the manufacturer's information, ZooMed Forest and ZooMed Grassland pellets are more beneficial to a tortoise's diet than Mazuri is. There are other products out there that I have not personally used or researched that may also be better or worse. One for certain that I have used, that I would not recommend for any reason is Marion Red Sticks.

It should not be one or the other. They are both good foods and both are good as part of a varied diet.

Feed them both. That's what I do. I mix them together.

thank you! i will then feed them both throughout the week i don't think i'll mix them though, more variety if i use each separate!
