Hello all,
Im Mel from alberta canada,
I thought i would do a quick post to get the ball rolling before I do a barrage of questions everywhere in my fine tuning for my redfoots.
I have an 8 foot by 3 foot enclosure Ive built that 4 of them are living in right now, a few will be moving out to a diffrent tank i have as the rest of my sub adult and adult group arrives.... Way to cold to ship right now.
My enclosure is at 75% humidity and the temp is 75 at the cool end and at night with the basking side up to 95 durring the day and Im still playing with it.

Hi and Welcome Mel,
I don't keep redfoots, but I would guess some plants would be nice for then. I like your little huts. Did you make them?

I have that same fake root decoration in my aquarium! My clown loach loves it cause he can hide in it. :)

Hi Mel:

I have to wait till the greenhouses open up again and find a list that they are safe with :)
We still have feet of snow up here so there is no plants to buy

Im also trying to figure out how to mount the pots so they dont knock them over or trample them?

NICE Set up Mel

I like what I'm seeing here, your torts are quite gorgous. I think a little pyrimiding can give a torts shell some character.

show us the set up when you get plants pleez.

Thanks guys :)
The pyrimiding was done before I got them.... Tha last time i raides a baby till about 4 years i had none.... All in the humidity and diet i figure....
Its a plywood box lined with corrigated plastic and siliconed..... She holds the heat and humidity like a charm :)
