meet my "baby", pokey

first, I call him my baby, even though he is 9(10 in august) because I raised him as a hatch-ling.

the pic was taken 2 months ago. the pup in the pic is about 40 lbs there...

pokey is about 33inches long and ~140-150 lbs

Pokey is beautiful!

Do you measure him in a straight line, or up and over in a curve? Reason I ask is 33" is quite long for only 150lbs. My Dudley is about 24" in a straight line (SCL) from front to back and he's about 110lbs.

Get a 5 gallon bucket and a couple of real strong men. Set the bucket upside down on the scale, then have the muscle-men place Pokey on the bucket. This is how I weigh my big guys. I was able to weigh my 180lbs Aldabran this way.

I never thought of that. I'll see if my dad can lift him and get back with an accurate measurement. I did measure over the curve but I did so a while ago so I'll remeasure that as well.
