I have been growing Bermuda grass in a kiddie pool for life at so he can munch on grass but I was wondering if screen mesh( the one you use on windows) will block the cub or iba when the grass is covered if so then I will just buy some chicken wire

Yes, it will block a good portion of it. Chicken wire is better to use.

I think window screening typically blocks about 50% of the UVB. It varies based on the screening material. In full sun, 50% of the UVB can still be significant. It varies based on your location.

What is the purpose of the mesh? I don't think chicken wire is very useful. I would use hardware cloth over chicken wire almost every time.

1/4" and1/2" mesh is almost as cheap as chicken wire and many times more sturdy.
Did you jab some nice holes in the bottom of the pool?
I had a bunch of greens get flooded in a storm in a pool that had holes too small.
