Hi, All.
I have had Millie, my Mississippi Mud Turtle, since she was about 1 year old. I have always fed her Hikari Sinking Carnivore wafers, some earthworms and the occasional grub. She appears to be doing fine and is now 7 years old.
But I thought I remembered reading somewhere that mud turtles become less carnivorous as they grow up; of course I can’t find the article. :-(
Do you think I should reduce her protein a little and offer veggies or water plants?
Again, she’s doing well and has no apparent problems- I am just following up on that article.
Thanks!
Bea/Mooz
