Hello!
My adult Russian tortoise Bruno has decided to move his hide away from where I placed it.

Last night, he did not sleep inside of the hide, which is not abnormal for him to do once every couple of weeks so I didn’t think anything of it. But then today, he decided he wanted to rearrange the furniture and push the hide across the tank.

I usually have the hide placed towards the cooler temp side of the tank, as that is what certain care sheets on this site say is the best placement for it. However, does his behavior and movement of it mean that he wants it elsewhere? Or is this normal for torts to do when they are feeling extra active during the day?
I have had him for about three months now and this is the first time I’ve seen him become an interior decorator. Should I be concerned at all?
thank you!

How big is your enclosure. They move stuff when they get grumpy. Be happy there is no dry humpy yet that is something that can't be unseen
