If you had read any of our threads for any length of time, you would know that too much calcium doesn't cause pyramiding. Pyramiding happens during the first year of a baby tortoise's life, when he is kept on a too dry substrate and not in a humid environment.
Mr. Tibbs' shell looks very nice, hardly any pyramiding at all. But give him a pinch of calcium at least three times a week. They need it for strong bones and shells.
