got any fresh mulberry leaves and maybe some fruits? I want to try some leaves for the sulcata and red foot, and maybe a bit of the fruit for the red foot. Send me a pm with the price. Thanks. I'm in San Diego California.
There are mulberry trees all over San Diego. No need to buy any. It may be hard to find a fruiting variety, but the fruitless ones are all over. Friends and neighbors will be thrilled to have you prune their trees for them, and no one will care if you lop an occasional branch off of a public tree.
Better hurry. They'll be dropping their leaves for the winter in another month or so.
Hey Tom, a forum member here in San Diego generously gave me a bunch of mulberry leaves and some plantain weeds and seeds. Plus he shared his experiences with sulcatas. Awesome afternoon yesterday.
My small sulcata just devoured a l whole leaf and some plantains. I guess he liked the break from the usual wheat grass and clover and orchard grass.
