Hi all.
I'm going to be needing a lot of mulch.
I can't buy cypress mulch over here in bulk, largest I've found is 26ltr for about £20.
When we trim our trees and bushes we always shred it into a mulch before composting it.
Is there any reason I can't make my own mulch?
I'm sure there are some harmful trees I can't use, Oak springs to mind. I could even go to one of our local woods/forest and collect old broken branches to shred. Would birch trees be ok to use?
If not, what other options do I have for mulch?
Thanks
