my 9 month lost tortoise found

hello,
this morning we found my 9 month lost hermann tortoise his eye is a little bloody on the perimeter and it is looking better now also we are keeping him warm until his cage gets here from storage and gave him food what else should i do

May we know appx. where in the world you are?

I wouldn't worry too much about his eye. It should heal just fine on its own. Just warm him up and feed him good food. A nice warm soak would probably be welcomed. He'll be ok.


Imagine him living for 9 months lost! What kind of weather has he lived through?

I'd give him regular soaks as Yvonne suggests until he starts eating normally. Hopefully he'll settle back in really quickly
