Awesome Tortoises![SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH][TURTLE] However I don't recommend keeping them in a tank. It's always better to keep them in a tortoise table. They say it's bad to keep them in pairs but a lot of people who own Russians have pairs housed together and no signs of fighting have shown up.

Your tortoises are adorable 
I will be separating them next month. I'm gonna get a 59-gallon tote with a second floor for the boy and the female will stay in the 40-gallon terrarium. I will be building an outside enclosure when it warms up though so they can roam around more.
