Hi All,
Just posting some pictures of Oms enclosure for all to see!
I'm using sand/soil substrate which has a little bit of limestone in it (got it from a reptile specialist over here in the UK). He has a prorep heatlamp with a 125W bulb, and there's a little heat map on that side as well to make sure the whole of that side is nice and warm!
He has the two pretend plants, and he loves hiding in the one in the corner, there's a photo of him bravely guarding his plant against the camera!
He gets a mixture of feeds, the shop gave me pellets, but when I can I give him dandelion and clover, as well as a tiny bit of tomato as a treat once a week. I'm currently growing him a feed mix, and the seedlings have just started popping out, so hopefully soon he'll be on yummy fresh greens every day!
He liked the half log when I first got him, but seems to have lost interest in it now he has the plant, but he goes for wanders and tries to dig quite alot.
Temperatures during the day around 27-28 degrees C, lowering to about 20 at night.
Anyway, comments and suggestions very welcome.

Good beginning! It's hard for me to really gauge Om's size compared to his food and water dishes, but my thought upon first seeing them, was that you might want to bury them down just a tad. They just seem tall.

How far does the bulb end up being from the substrate?

He seems to climb into them both ok, I've got to change his water as he seems to have trecked soil in it while I was at work, and I've just witnessed him sat in his food bowl (which is bigger than him!)
I've just measured him and he's currently 3 inches length and width (so little!)
From the tip of the bulb to teh substrate is 7 and a half inches, the light is cable tied to teh top of the cage.
