My new aquatic tank setup.

Yesterday i bought a new tank, screen, and dock for my Map turtle. My old setup was WAY too shallow. Now, my turtle has plenty of room depth to swim and enjoy. I have a small heater, a bubble with air stone, and tiny filter (I plan on buying a larger one tomorrow). I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to make my tank setup better or on what kind of filter I should get. (Preferably a cheaper one but I do need it to good one because I don't want to have to change the water that often.

Thank you for the compliment. This tank is SO MUCH better than my old one. My turtle went from having like 4 inches of water to having like 10-12 inches. He seems to love it. & I appreciate the links on filter systems. I think I'm going to look at some today.

Looks really nice. The only thing I would add is some live plants for him to much on if he would want too. Can't tell if all your plants were fake or not

Good looking tank. But I really not in it for clean the filter system or changing water. I will just have tortoises. But enjoy the photo you shared with us. Thanks.

Yeah, they're all fake. Lol what kind of aquatic plants? And where can I get them? I seen some at Petsmart but I didny want to get something he can't have.
