Any advice on raising him? A variety of foods, setting him in a shallow thing of water for 15mins a day, keeping temp and humidity levels just right... Anything else?

Being more of a forest dwelling tortoise they require lots of humidity, the more you can provide the better. That's about all I know about them, just keep em moist!

What a cutie! I'd suggest adding large leafed plants (I use fake ones) so she can roam yet feel safe and concealed. My girl goes from leaf to leaf and peeks from underneath, very much like a child playing hide and seek: I can't see you so you can't see me ;-D Since I added those, she spends a lot less time hiding in her hide and it keeps her active and provides us with the best show :-D
