i attached my new baby redfoot tortoise's pic :D just got him/her today.... pretty sure it isn't 13-15 weeks old...still has its egg tooth, am i right or can they still have it then?

He looks pretty big to be a hatchling but he does still have the egg tooth. Good looking little guy for sure. Keep him warm and humid and he should develop nice

thanks everyone :D and the shot is close up but he is about two inches to two and a half inches long.....i am not sure why he still has a egg tooth ....

Don't know about the egg tooth but it is one beautiful looking red foot.

Congrats! He looks really cute! Not sure about the egg tooth either. Maybe he's a late bloomer:)

Very cute tort! He's definitely a youngin' though! Probably between 5-8 weeks old.

With my hatchlings, I try to give them as much routine as possible...Regular hiding places taht I do not disturb, saok, then feed the same time everyday....they seem timid and shy the first few days, but once they get the hang of a routine, they will soon come to expect dinner just from your voice...mangos always seem to catch the attention of mine better than most things, and red fruits...good luck!
