My new hatchlings

Well I should be getting my two hatchlings tomorrow..Waited sooo long impatiently lol.

I have no other pets. I have done sooo much research on all these forums.
Just need them now!!

Well we had some news, getting the vivarium on wednesday. Then collecting the Hatchlings on Thursday depending the varirum has settled and working well with the heat lamps. The vivarium is not the one i thought i would be getting but the reptile guy said that the heat stays better in the wooden vivariums than open top for the hatchlings as they get older change it to open top. But I will see.If i dont like it then I will buy a table top from tortoise table.

Well been to collect the vivarium.Im quite pleased with it, everything is ready. Collecting my babies tomorrow at mid day. They are nearly 3 years old. So not hatchlings. Im sooooooooooooo excited. The reptile guy is really good and knows his stuff. My tortoises were born in Devon from a Breeder. So Im happy. Im buying a plastic sink bowl tomorrow to give them there first bath.
Apparently the Hay I can buy from my local sainsburys and they love eating that as it has the weeds. Also to get some weeds which i will buy and also start growing. Will sort out the outdoor enclosure.But meanwhile I will sit in my garden watching them outside. I live in the Uk. Is it okay to put them outside on a cloudy but warmish day????
I am sure I will find this out tomorrow )))))

I'm in the uk and yes it's fine to put them out on days like that. It's overcast here today but the uv still makes it through. Phillip has been steaming about the garden for ages now congratulations how exciting for you!

Substrate was supplied by dealer and will let you know what it actually is.
