I live in South East Asia, and am the proud owner of a trio of juvenile pancakes. Thanks to this forum, I made some good choices regarding housing and I'm glad I asked before I started building.
They are in a 6' x 3' outdoor tortoise table, on wheels. They spend most of their days in the sun, and under a shed at night. When it rains, I have a backup basking spot plus a UVB light for them. But that is rare.
I'm hoping I have all females or 2 females and a male. I did my best to sex them.
No names yet, but they do have distinctive features.
The largest one - which I suspect is male, is a vacuum, he eats anything and everything. Always the first one for breakfast.
A female with blackened eyes. Fast lil girl, she is the fastest among them all.
A smaller female who is the pickiest eater of the three. Very gentle, picky eater.
When I first got them a month ago, they were shy and quick to run. But I'm happy to say that they will eat in front of me and go about their day with me planting and tending to their garden.
I will be bringing them in to the vet for fecal samples once they are stable enough.
Click on the thumbnails if you want to see original pictures Don't want to heavy load on any of you.
Bonus handing feeding the picky girl.
