My Red Eared Slider is Pregnant, what do I do with the unfertilized eggs?

We think my little RES is pregnant. What do I do with the unfertilized eggs?

She'll probably poop them out in the water and eat them. Otherwse you can just toss them

I appreciate this, but she has been digging on the land, what do I do with the holes?

Once she has laid them, you can let her bury them and then you dig them up or you can stop her once she starts to bury them, collect the eggs and cover up the hole.
She may make several test holes first.

Or you can just leave them in the ground. They're not going to hatch and they'll eventually rot.

In a large enough enclosure, you may never have even noticed any eggs were laid.
I no longer dig up my eggs, either.
