So here's all my mistakes so far, all documented for my shame,
So first mistake was trusting one person who insisted their tortoises loved sand as substrate, see how dry and dusty she is, as soon as I put her in I realised it wasn't going to work so rushed out and brought tortoise substrate from pets at home but again so dry and would just clump up when misted, so used coir blocks instead, and she loves it, burrows in the soil when it's bed time, loves her planted food! But I thought I'd post my shame here as it might help other new tortoise owners, we're on the UK and winters are chilly so she'll be getting a 8 foot vivarium when the time comes so she won't be in the tiny table too long
