My Sulcata looks he doesn’t know how to eat Mazuri pellet

I usually make the Mazuri pellet as powder for him. Today, I just gave him the original pellets. Then he try to swallow the pellet as a whole. Then pellet is stucked in his mouth. I spent half an hour to help him get the pellet out. I feel lucky that the pellet is stuck in his mouth, not his throat. Otherwise he may die.

Soak the Mazuri pellets in water until they are soft. Then feed them as a meal or added to his greens.

I have LS, and soak it in warm water for about 5 minutes.

I toss out Mazuri wet or dry.
I've never experienced choking with my Redfoot.
