My Tortoise smells

So my 1 year old Russian is a bit smelly, I give him a bath once a week for ten minutes and I’ve only had him for over two months. Is this normal for them to smell? And if not how do I stop it?

Most do not smell, or at least mine does not. Does he have any shell rot. Maybe he ha some poop stuck to the bottom of his shell from sitting on it. Check for poop or shell rot.

Take a good look at that poop.
It could or might not be full of parasites.

While tortoise poo never smells like fresh cinnamon rolls, it shouldn't be horrible either.
Diet or illness would be my guess.
Unless he's kept in a tiny, unclean enclosure.
