Yes, that's plural. Cody needed a friend!
This is Charlie (I think she's a girl so it's really Charlotte)
Her shell isn't as nice as Cody's, we have a bit of pyramiding so we're doing lots of soaks and mistings throughout the day which she has decided is completely unnecessary lol

Thanks guys!
Two is much better than 1 ;)

They can't overdose on cuttle bone right? She goes to town on that thing!

That's cool! I haven't seen little ones hit cuttlebone yet...Mort and Aladar, on the other hand, will plow through one in a heartbeat.

No, they can't overdose. She knows when she needs it :)

Does Cody hit the cuttlebone that way? Interesting. The mildly pyramided one craves the cuttlebone. It will be interesting to watch the two of them grow and see how those shells develop. With such mild pyramiding and you catching it so early, I'll bet it turns out pretty nice, in the end. Just curious what else you are doing for humidity. Hides? Substrate? How damp/wet do you keep it down there in FL?

Both babies are gorgeous. Congratulations.

I saw him with a cuttle bone mustache once but she's been eating it every day for a few days. I have 2 hides, one I mist and keep damp and the other I just leave. I took the flowers out on the side and changed their feeding area to tiles instead of bowls so it looks a little different now but I didn't change the hides.
Don't worry, I only put it in the sun when I can supervise.

The humid (red) side is usually in the 80's for humidity and I'm not sure about the other side I just assume it's probably around what the air is. The air humidity is usually in the 60's and at night in the high 70's. And it's been really hot this past week, this afternoon around 4pm I took this picture, you can see the temp and humidity. Oh and substrate is Canadian sphagnum peat moss.

It will be fascinating to watch how the shells develop with that level of humidity, in YOUR area. Understand, I'm not suggesting you change anything, I just wonder if that's enough. Time will tell.

I can easily up it, I haven't found anywhere that specified a recommended percentage of humidity for Leopards so I just sorta guessed :p If you have a good suggestion I'd be happy to try it out.

No. I haven't raised a Leo with high humidity yet. I intend to keep it very high on mine when I get them, but until I've done it with a few, I really don't want to tell others how it should be done. Especially when its already so humid, most of the time, where you are. I might be able to get away with more here because the outside air, where they sun every day, is very dry. You do what you are comfortable with. If you go too damp and they get a chill, you MIGHT have a health problem. If you go to dry, they WILL pyramid.

Katie...You mentioned to me that it hasn't really been that hot or sunny...on those days make aure they have a heat lamp so the temp exceeds 95-100. Being in FL, I know you won't need that lamp very often:p

What? I know this isn't what you meant to type. Hit the edit button. Still time to change it.

Thanks!

Dean, yesterdays 94 degrees was on a cloudy day! Its been 97ish most afternoons (in the shade). It gets well over 100 in the sun and the mornings are always sunny and we usually have a quick thunderstorm in the adternoon but yesterday was cloudy and it never did rain.

If it cools off and goes back into the high 80s I should set up their light for 95-100?

Your ambient temperature should be at least 85 but should fluctuate into the 90s with a HOT basking spot (over 100)
