Has anyone ever tried trimming their tortoises (I have Russians) nails with a dog/cat nail cutter?
• I have a cat nail cutter because our chihuahua is tiny d:

Okay, I just felt like it might seem easier/quicker. Thanks for the input. :)
My Russians nails seem long, but the little dark part on the inside is almost the same size as the nail.

Yes, I use a small nail clipper designed for cats. I like that the dog/cat nail clippers are a little rounded. It helps prevent the nail from splitting.

Russians claws tend to be a little long naturally. Be careful not to hit the quick, that dark area in the nail. It'll bleed.

Alright :) I'll try it when they're actually long. Thanks for the input.
Very similar to doggie nails.
