need advice

ok so here is a pic my sheldons ear is puffy. he is healthy eating more then well very happy and the weather outside is amazing so he has been out everyday and still indoors at night. my question should I take him to a vet. it is only the one ear. I am thinking it may need to be drained ???? expert advise would be wonderful

It looks like an abscess to me, it will need to be drained and meds may be needed.

thats kinda what I thought. his temps are all wonderful im just wondering how this could have happened... guess im off to the vet. ill post on wed after my apt
