My new addition. Very blessed she has such a beautiful shell - not often do you find this! Shes a 2010 thb! Shes not very heavy (in comparison to one of my other torts about 1inch smaller)
She turns her nose up at weeds and flowers though. Any ideas??

Soil and chippings. Mine hated the soil just sat there and didnt move. Im gradually putting more soil in reducing the chips/mixing it in

I have been using cypress mulch. It dries out so fast. Do you like that combo?

Very pretty tort....what behavior did the tort display that leads you to think he did not like the soil? :D

What food is he eating /does he like if he is not eating what you would like him to eat?

Havent tried that yet...

They avoided where the soil was, iv now mixed it in and they happily walk over it, especially when there is a nice dandelion leaf waiting yo be eaten!..fussy little buggers!

She loves tomatoes and cucumber...iv now managed yo get her eating dandelion leaves, so hopefully I can break the bad food habit she has!!
