New backyard Pond Build

ive been super procrastinating..... bought the house in February , still havent finish the pond yet.
my plan is simple------ a pond with land area so that my box turtles and aquatic turtles can co exist.


This is what i got when i moved in. Since my house is brand new construction,greedy builder wont even give me a brick for the back yard...

gonna put this bricks under the pond liner edge, to prevent mud water run off into the pond

You are doing such great things ! I wish I could find a least liner in my country to build something like this. But there is not stores for such things here, I can't find water pump either. So my turtle can't have such a wonderful pond. It's really amazing, great work !

Wow, looking great. They sure look happy. Lot of work goes into building a pond. I did one years ago. They are so worth it though.
