Have just started on the new cage for my two Russian tortoises,

It is five times the size of the cage they are in now which you can see in the background.
Will keep you upto date with how it goes if anyone is interested.

Got to build the top, upper deck and then stain the outside so it matches the rest of the stuff in my livingroom.
Got loads of plants to put in it bathing pool, as you can see it can be split into two sections, it will have two heat lamps one at each end. What to get it all finishes by the end of this week coming so I can move them in Saturday.......well that is what I am planning,

That is going to be great Jason. I know, because that's how I did mine to keep mine separated. :D

Nice work! It looks very good.
Can't think of anything to add. They are going to like walking back and forth, and if they don't get along...poof!...separated.
Will you put netting over the top to protect them from kids or pets?

Yes I'm building mesh hinged doors to stop our cats getting in to sleep under the heat lamps.

Lol, only tuned my eyes away for two seconds and she (the cat) was in there and sat on top of the tortoises under the heat lamp.
She has no interest in them.
