Nifty way to use the barrows. When you get done, fill us in on the details. I like your way of thinking outside the box.

Definitely unique. Outdoor enclosure? Or indoor? And for what kind of tortoise? It will definitely hold heat in, maybe too much if it's outdoors. Definitely can't wait for the updates.

I like the idea & use of the barrels.
Look forward to seeing the progress and end result! :)

Beautiful! Will it be very hard to change the water?

I like it. What kind of box turtles are those? They are pretty. And the holes lower in the barrels, I think were the original lids are, get some airflow through. It will be easy to expand if you want and should hold humidity well too. I like the way the lighting ends up through the barrels , sort of shady but yet not pitch black. I hope that made sense, it's kind of hard to explain what I mean. Very creative.

1.2 ornate wood turtles. Water changes are easy I just flush out the existing water with fresh when needed the filter helps a lot and keeps water changes to a minimal, however I will add a drain soon. Thank you all for the kind words .
