New enclosure what do you think?

I got a 40 gallon breeder for my baby sulcata I am now working on a lid but what is the best bedding for a small sulcata?

The best substrate for baby sulcatas is fine grade orchid bark. The coir you have would be my second choice, but whichever one you use you need a 4" layer of it. Either of those can be purchased in bulk at a garden center much cheaper than at a pet store.

Your tortoise also needs a humid hide, and I would not use that blue color bulb. White light for day and darkness, but still warm, at night.

An tom how should I do my humid hide should and what end should I do it on and is the moss safe for him I'm just a little worried he will eat it

No place in my enclosures drops below 80, so I can put the humid hide where ever its convenient.

I don't use moss because all of mine try to eat it. You can try it and see, but its not needed.

I use upside down black dishwashing tubs with a door hole cut out. I buy them at Walmart for less than $2. Just wet the area under the tub.
