So two new animals I got today. These two forsteniis are two of three animals which survive from a bloodline which comes from Swiss.
So these are the last animal of the bloodline.
Male from 1998 and female from 2010.

Very nice. Good luck. I imagine they could be hard to obtain over there?

Yes it's really difficult to obtain they here. We have not much bloodlines and not much females..

I've had a look for a few myself and have struggled.
Am I right in saying that these are from that 'secret' breeding facility for chelonia in the Swiss Alps?

I don't know exactly from where they come. I only know that they come from Swiss and that they are the last animals of this bloodline.
And you know we haven't got much bloodlines I only know bloodlines in Czech Netherlands Germany and two in east Europe so that 7-10 bloodlines...

Nice tortoises, how many forstenii do you have?

At the moment four animals. Two animals from the studbook leader in neatherlands and now this two animals from Swiss.. I hope to get some more in the next year but it is really difficult to find animals here.

Good to hear they are feeding for you. Is the larger animal cb?

Ah I don't really know. The guy said that he is from 1998 so actually he must be cb. But if you see the perfect shell you can think that he is an imported WC animal...
