New growth?

Just curious if you all see new growth ? I think I do but this is my first tort so I was hoping for your opinions:) she loves her cuttle bone!

Looks like there may be a bit of new coming in. The substrate and hay you have is not helping him though. He should have dirt or coconut coir. Also some humidity, at least in a humid hide. The substrate you have is too drying.

She is all mostly coco coir with a little aspen bark ... Bought some grass hay , that's what you see. Humidity is always 80% or above with temps never below 80! They said she is 3 yrs , only have had her for a month. Curious if her new growth is smoother...I have no idea what to look at:/

In between it's scutes there will be a pinkish white lines . This is new growth I don't see any yet . Keep feeding and good humidity and temperatures you will see some smoother growth .
