So I just got my new hatchling sulcata. Iv had many exotix pets in the past so I believe im up for this challenge. I live in Paradise Tx, paradise is about an hr & 1/2 away from DFW so were pretty much central texas. Iv got a set up ready modeled after the one at the sulcata station website

http://www.sulcata-station.org/housing.html

I think I know what I need, an dont really have any questions, but if anyone has any helpful tips or suggestion on what they believe I should do im open to anything an welcome all help.

Also I would greatly appreciate some response from other Texas owners because I would like to hear about how sulcatas do in the always bipolar Texas climate

Thank you
Kaylee Smith

Hello Kaylee and welcome to the forum...

If you have the right set up, a sulcata will do great inside or out year around in Texas...

WELCOME:D. Some great threads for sulcatas and leapards at the bottom of my post. Check them out. Don't forget to post pics. We love them
