You have a beautiful little tortoise!

He/she will be happiest if she has a permanent enclosure with exposure to direct sunlight (not through the glass) or a UVB lamp. (Please check the Tortoise Enclosure Lighting section before buying a lamp.)

The enclosure for an adult should be at least 122x240 cm. For a smaller tort, it doesn't have to be that big but they still need space to hide, walk and bask.

Heat and light are crucial for the tortoise's health.

@Nancyasmar what you have is a tortoise, and they are cold blooded, it means they cannot produce heat on its own.

But they still need at least 80F to make their digestion system works well. so you need to make sure of this.

In their life, they need more than 80F in one spot of their habitat so they can bask. this is essential. this is the second things you need to make sure.

Tortoise need uvb light , if they don't get it, they will die, in a long time, they suffer and dying and it is so cruel. uvb light is from sun, direct sun, no glass or plastic or anything between sun and the tortoise. people produce uvb bulb too, you can get this if you can't give natural sun for the tortoise.

Tortoise like to eat this a little, eat that a little, they are so small, everything is large for them, they will eat your hair, they will inhale dust, and they don't like change, if you often move him here and there, he will be afraid and don't know what to do and stress, and not eat or whatever. so really no benefit at all putting them anywhere to let them see things, they don't like it. tortoise needs his own home, they will happy and say thank you. sadly they can't talk haha.

Food, there is a list, i don't know what food is good for your tort species . someone will tell you.
